March Preschool Morning Bins

March is just around the corner, and I’m happy to tell you that the March Preschool Morning Bins are here! March is one of my favorite months because the flowers start to bloom, spring animals begin to emerge from hibernation, and children get to play in the spring warmth. This all makes the perfect combination for some early spring fun!

Students will decide if the item is a thing or a plant or animal.

Morning Bin #7: Finding Details

Morning Bin #8: Name

Morning Bin #11: Making and Counting Groups

Morning Bin #18: Social Emotional

Students will look at the emotion and use play dough or a dry erase marker to recreate the face to show the emotion.

Morning Bin #19: Fine Motor

Students will glue squares of tissue paper or construction paper to make art. You could also choose to offer dot markers to color the dots instead of the tissue paper squares.

Morning Bin #20: Dramatic Play

Students will use their imaginations and the items to pretend that they are a clerk or shopping at a garden shop. You can add so much to this dramatic play center! Most dollar stores have plenty of items that can enhance this center, but I’ve also added the items in print, so you don’t have to worry about shopping!

*This is an open-ended play activity.  The offered materials can be set up in a variety of ways.  Get creative and have fun!
