May & June Preschool Morning Bins
If you’re gearing up for summer, the May and June Preschool Morning Bins are just what you need to add some fun! If you’ve been using the Preschool Morning Bins, your students have been practicing a variety of skills throughout the year. Each month has included slightly more challenging activities that build on what they have learned. In total 180 bins are now included in the bundle! What are Morning Tubs / Bins?
These age appropriate Preschool/ Pre-K Morning Bins are a great way to incorporate literacy, math, fine motor skills, and tons of PLAY into your morning routine! These bins are not limited to mornings, but can also be used for your early/fast finisher tubs, or just for some quiet exploration time at the end of the day!

Each month, you will have access to 20 NEW activities that cover the skills listed above! Certainly, these will get your kids EXCITED about morning routines! Furthermore, warm up those brains and start the day with engaging and purposeful activities!
Let’s take a look at each May & June Preschool Morning Bins in action!
Morning Bin #1: Rhyming and Syllables
Students say the word, clap to count the syllables and clip the number of syllables in the word.
Morning Bin #2: Sounds
Students will say the words, listen for the beginning sound and find the letter to match.
Morning Bin #3: Letters
Students find and place the missing letters in the alphabet.
Morning Bin #4: Sequence
Students will put the events in order and say what is happening in each picture.
Morning Bin #5: Letter Printing
Students will write the lowercase letter that matches the uppercase letter.
Morning Bin #6: Sorting by Concept/Vocabulary
Students will decide if the scene is sunny, cloudy or stormy.
Morning Bin #7: Finding Details
Students will observe both pictures and identify 10 differences.
Morning Bin #8: Name
Students will put the letters of their name in order and glue them onto the watermelon.
Morning Bin #9: Patterns
Students will use manipulatives to create the pattern on the strip.
Morning Bin #10: Count Sequence
Students will make a path from 1 to 10 on the board.
Morning Bin #11: Making and Counting Groups
Students will flip a card, count how many and feed the unicorn the same number.
Morning Bin #12: Shapes
Students will sort the animal and barn cards to the correct shape on the mat.
Morning Bin #13: Measurement
Students will clip the container that can hold more.
Morning Bin #14: Colors
Students will spin the spinner and cover an item that is usually the color.
Morning Bin #15: Numerals
Students will trace, count, fill a ten frame and write the number.
Morning Bin #16: Comparing
Students will flip 2 cards and compare the number of items on each.
Morning Bin #17: Life Skills
Students will look at the problem or task and decide if they can do it on their own or if they need help from an adult.
Morning Bin #18: Social Emotional
Students will flip a card and cover the senses that can be used to experience the item.
Morning Bin #19: Fine Motor
Students will say the beginning sound of the item and weave yarn in and out of the holes.
Morning Bin #20: Dramatic Play
Students will use their imaginations and the items to pretend that they are buying or selling ice cream at an ice cream shop.
*This is an open-ended play activity. The offered materials can be set up in a variety of ways. Get creative and have fun!
